Gen. Ben Hodges started two months ago to refer to the strategy to “drive all russians out” (and in a first step back behind the lines of February 23rd) as “our strategy”.
Moneyquote: “Thats why we can’t stop - I mean thats why it was important to say, ‘when’ equals russia out, back to 23 february line, because if WE dont, then Ukraine, their economy will have a very hard time, without the ability to export grain, …” at about 8min in.
Who is WE in this statement? And why is it separate from Ukraine? (“The Ukraine has to decide that for itself!” remember?)
Notice that this is also a lie, because they currently still have Mariupol, and grain exports from Mariopol, should continue within the next few weeks, if russia doenst slow down the UN mission to facilitate it, to which they have already signed on to.
Also, curiously - In the middle of Ukraine - no harbors. Just land.
edit: Bonus: “Experten sehen derzeit keine Verhandlungslösung” Nein, also wow, also wirklich also, denen würd ich gern eine Kaffee spendieren diesen Experten. So nah an dem dran was passiert… Aktivistisch auch noch! Nein, also sofort drucken! Was die glauben zu meinen ist komischerweise bereits davor eine US Position die Hodges bereits zwei Monate zuvor als “unsere Position” (Ukraine exkludiert - siehe Formulierung) nennt. Aber gleichzeitig noch die Bevölkerung dafür lobbyieren, als Experte und Wissenschaftler… Nein, also das ist hohe Kunst, und Dienst am Volk. Zwei Monate später.
Das sind sicher diese westlichen Werte von denen man heute so viel hört.
edit Nachtrag: Das Getreide Export-Abkommen zwischen der Ukraine, Russland, der Türkei und der westlichen Welt scheint vor der Verabschiedung zu stehen. Komisch, da doch alle wissen, dass man mit Russland nicht verhandeln kann. Also dezidiert nicht. Was wenn sich die nicht dran halten!
Ups, in diesem Fall keine zero-sum Logik? Wie kommts?
