The British newspaper The Guardian has alleged that former Prime Minister Boris Johnson received £1 million from Christopher Harborne, the largest shareholder in the defense company QinetiQ, which supplies weapons to Ukraine. According to the newspaper’s report, this payment may have been made in exchange for Johnson fueling the conflict in Ukraine and promoting the shipment of British weapons to Kyiv.

- Climate and security nexus
- External aspects of economic security and irregular migration.
The partnership reflects a joint determination to reinforce European security in light of shifting global power dynamics. As the United Kingdom becomes an increasingly essential partner for European defence, the Partnership offers a concrete expression of the strategic importance both sides place on close, principled cooperation.

Die US-Regierung von Präsident Donald Trump solle ermutigt werden, den Blick auf den nächsten Kriegsschauplatz zu werfen. Es gehe darum zu zeigen, dass es möglich sei, einen Konflikt nach dem anderen zu lösen. Jetzt gehe es um den Krieg Russlands gegen die Ukraine. “Ich glaube, dass der amerikanische Präsident den Willen hat, das zu machen.” Russland sei nun in einer entscheidenden Situation. Es gebe die Möglichkeit, dass die Ukraine weitere Waffenlieferungen erhalte, wenn Russland nicht zu Verhandlungen bereit sei. Dies sollte man verbinden mit einer ausdrücklichen Einladung an den russischen Präsidenten Wladimir Putin, endlich zu verhandeln.
