Zehn Bünd­nis­sen oder Par­tei­en gelingt nach jet­zi­gem Stand der Ein­zug ins Par­la­ment. Die alt­be­kann­te Zer­split­te­rung setzt sich fort. Doch Netan­ja­hu tak­tiert wesent­lich bes­ser als sei­ne Geg­ner und schafft sich eine gute Aus­gangs­po­si­ti­on für die Mehr­heit von 61 der 120 Sit­ze: Sein Likud bleibt Umfra­gen zufol­ge stärks­te Kraft und stellt knapp über 30 Abge­ord­ne­te. Zwei ultra­or­tho­do­xe Par­tei­en sor­gen für wei­te­re 15 Man­da­te. Um die Hür­de von 3,25 Pro­zent für den Knesset-Einzug zu meis­tern, betrieb Netan­ja­hu ein Bünd­nis von zwei rech­ten Par­tei­en: Die Reli­giö­sen Zio­nis­ten könn­ten von bis­her sechs auf 14 Man­da­te zulegen.

Teil die­ser Grup­pie­rung, die Chan­cen hat, dritt­stärks­te Kraft im Par­la­ment zu wer­den, ist Itamar Ben-Gvir. Des­sen ideo­lo­gi­sche Wur­zeln lie­gen in der faschis­ti­schen Bewe­gung von Rab­bi Meir Kaha­ne, die in den 1980ern ver­bo­ten wur­de. Ben-Gvi lebt als Sied­ler in Hebron und posier­te einst unter einem Bild von Baruch Gold­stein, der 29 Mus­li­me im Jahr 1994 ermor­det hat­te. Gold­stein sei heu­te zwar “kein Held” mehr, zitiert die “Süd­deut­sche Zei­tung” Ben-Gvi. Aber erst im Mai mar­schier­te er mit einer Gefolg­schaft durch Jeru­sa­lem, die “Tod den Ara­bern” skandierte.

For years Mr Ben-Gvir was shun­ned by right-wingers as an extre­mist. Born in 1976 in Jeru­sa­lem to Iraqi Jewish immi­grants, Mr Ben-Gvir joi­ned Kach, an ultra-nationalist move­ment descri­bed by Ame­ri­ca as a ter­ro­rist orga­ni­sa­ti­on, at the age of 16. Kach was led by Meir Kaha­ne, a vio­lent anti-Arab natio­na­list who cal­led for Arab Israe­lis to be strip­ped of their citi­zenship. In 1994 Baruch Gold­stein, a fel­low Kach adhe­rent, kil­led 29 Pales­ti­ni­ans in a mos­que in the occu­p­ied West Bank; until he ent­e­red poli­tics Mr Ben-Gvir hung a pos­ter of Gold­stein in his home. Mr Ben-Gvir made a name for hims­elf in 1995, after being exemp­ted from con­scrip­ti­on to the Isra­el Defence For­ces becau­se of his extre­me views, by threa­tening Yitz­hak Rabin, the prime minis­ter, on tele­vi­si­on, say­ing he would “get to him”. Rabin was assas­si­na­ted by an Israe­li ultra-nationalist three weeks later.

“I mean in terms of what Lau­ra Fried­man tweeted about the sta­te depart­ment remo­ving Kaha­na high from - Kaha­na high - I’m sor­ry is a sort of an off­shoot of Kaths that emer­ged in the wake of Meir Kahane’s assas­si­na­ti­on in 1990. I think what Lau­ra Fried­man is say­ing is abso­lute­ly cor­rect and I don’t think it’s the sta­te depart­ment alo­ne that has has play­ed a role in this nor­ma­liz­a­ti­on that she dis­cus­ses I think it’s cer­tain­ly unhel­pful that the­se two groups were remo­ved from that desi­gna­ti­on six mon­ths ago becau­se I think that’s con­tri­bu­t­ed to this idea that Kha­nism and Kaths and Kaha­nis ideo­lo­gy are somehow relics of the past or suf­fi­ci­ent­ly mar­gi­nal that they don’t moni­tor they don’t merit clo­se moni­to­ring and sur­veil­lan­ce and I think all of that is incor­rect. I think it’s also of a pie­ce with a wider mar­gi­na­liz­a­ti­on of of Ben Geer and Kaha­nism that I think will unavo­ida­b­ly be revi­si­ted now, but that has play­ed a big role in down­play­ing the thre­at posed by his ideo­lo­gy and its poten­ti­al to win power in the Israe­li government.”

Als Wer­te­wes­ten machen wir in Euro­pa unse­re Lan­des­verti­di­gung natür­lich gleich mal von Off­shoots von ehe­ma­li­gen Ter­ro­ris­ten abhän­gig, deren Mut­ter­or­ga­ni­sa­ti­on sechs Mona­te zuvor von der US Ter­ror Watch­list geflo­gen ist, damit Bibi mit ihrer Hil­fe wie­der an die Macht kom­men konnte…

Ich mein, es ist doch wirk­lich zu unsi­cher und zu wenig irgend­was mit Wer­ten, dass wir wei­ter­hin die französisch/italienische Indus­trie­part­ner­schaft finan­zie­ren, die bis­her einen Rake­ten­schild für Euro­pa ent­wick­len sollte.

Rake­ten­ab­wehr­schil­de sind ja nur dann pri­ma mit unse­rer Werteideo­lo­gie im Wes­ten zu ver­ein­ba­ren, wenn sie aus Län­dern stam­men in denen rech­te Ultra­na­tio­na­lis­ten an der Macht sind, deren Ideo­lo­gi­sche Wur­zeln z.T. in Ter­ror­or­ga­ni­sa­tio­nen zu fin­den sind, die sechs Mona­te vor den Wah­len in Isra­el plötz­lich - und nach Jahr­zehn­ten - von der US Ter­ror Watch­list verschwinden.

Die­se Gesell­schaft ist das abso­lut abgrund­tief Letzte.
