Pol­ni­sche Sabo­teu­re woll­ten eine Chlor Fabrik bom­ba­die­ren - kenn ich nicht, kei­ne Ahnung woher es stammt, die Pres­se ver­linkt nichts, sagen wir mal - ok Fake News (wer hat das im Kriegs­ge­biet unab­hän­gig geprüft?) edit: Laut ZDF Maga­zin Roya­le ist die Platt­form die das Chlor Video debunkt hat bel­ling­cat, und das Video ver­brei­te­te sich am 18.02. unter ande­rem über Tele­gram in den Kanä­len von Sepa­ra­tis­ten. Über­prüft wur­de das Erstell­da­tum des Vide­os, das nach Meta­da­ten zwei Wochen vor dem Vor­fall gedreht wur­de. Was es Top 10 macht? Kei­ne Ahnung.

3. Ukrai­ni­sche Streit­kräf­te haben einen Kin­der­gar­ten am 17. Febru­ar bom­ba­diert. Das ist der Kin­der­gar­ten, der laut Boris John­son eine fal­se flag Mel­dung war und der inner­halb der ukrai­ni­schen Gren­zen lag. Wo sich dann die Fra­ge gestellt hat, war­um bom­ba­diert Russ­land vor Kriegs­be­ginn einen Kin­der­gar­ten in der Ukrai­ne und benutzt das als Fal­se flag Mel­dung? (sie­he: click)

Wir haben ange­grif­fen, aber es waren die ande­ren die ihre Kin­der getö­tet haben?

4. Russ­land hat zu Beginn der Inva­si­on kei­ne zivi­len Zie­le ange­grif­fen. Auch aus der Putin Rede. Ja, stimmt nicht. Wobei sich die Dabat­te hier meist um “gezielt” oder nicht dreht, aber las­sen wir das mal weg. Sagen wir sie haben eini­ge zivi­le Zie­le ange­grif­fen. Trotz­dem scheint es gene­rell bemüht zivi­le Opfer nicht ein­fach in Kauf zu neh­men - dh. die OSZE spricht immer noch von mög­li­chen Kriegs­ver­bre­chen. (Nor­ma­ler­wei­se lässt die sieg­rei­che Kriegs­par­tei, dann die Bewei­se dafür ver­schwin­den, das geht aber nur, wenn es ver­ein­zelt statt­ge­fun­den hat.).

Natio­nal­so­zia­lis­ti­sches Gedan­ken­gut ist weit ver­brei­tet in der ukrai­ni­schen Poli­tik und Gesell­schaft und wird von der Ukrai­ne unter­stützt. - Erneut, aus der Rede Putins zur Begrün­dung des Angriffs­krie­ges. Ansons­ten kor­rekt, weit ver­brei­tet ist Blöd­sinn. Schlüs­sel­be­griff “weit ver­brei­tet”. Ver­wei­se auf das Azow Bat­tali­on sind mitt­ler­wei­le erlaubt? click und click und was MSNBC dar­aus (aus dem euro­news Video­ma­te­ri­al vom ers­ten “click”) gemacht hat.

6. Der Wes­ten hat mit den Maidan-Protesten 2014 einen Coup insze­niert um die recht­mä­ßi­ge (damals pro-russische) Regie­rung in der Ukrai­ne zu stür­zen. Sagen wir mal Fake News, aber er war trotz­dem sehr aktiv, nicht nur finan­zi­ell. (Die Zeit (2015): Did Uncle Sam buy off the Mai­dan?) Video­zu­sam­men­schnit­te der dama­li­gen Besu­che von Kon­gress­ab­ge­ord­ne­ten, inkl. Hand­shakes mit dem ein­fa­chen Sol­da­ten, gibt es beim Schwur­b­ler Jim­my Dore. Also wir fas­sen zusam­men die Top 10 der meist­ver­brei­te­ten Fake News im Netz, aktu­ell, laut einer Agen­tur mit ehe­ma­li­gen Nato-Mitgliedern (und Wei­te­ren…) im advi­so­ry board sind:

5 mal Putin Rede, ein­mal die Mel­dung die bei Boris John­son kei­nen oder wenig Sinn gemacht hat, ein­mal pol­ni­sche Sabo­teu­re in einer Chlor­fa­brik, ein­mal ein over­spe­ci­fic rebut­tle (Russ­land hat zu Beginn des Krie­ges zivi­le Zie­le ange­grif­fen, die OSZE hat dar­auf hin Unter­su­chun­gen zu mög­li­chen Kriegs­ver­bre­chen ein­ge­lei­tet), ein­mal eine fik­ti­ve Mili­tär­ba­sis, ein­mal die Mai­d­an­pro­tes­te waren ein insze­nier­ter Coup und ein­mal Bio­waf­fen - durch eine viel­leicht bewuss­te Fehl­in­ter­pre­ta­ti­on eines Textes.

Zum letz­ten Punkt, auch das könn­te man inhalt­lich als Teil der Putin Rede sub­su­mie­ren, da sich ein Aspekt in ihr län­ge­re Zeit damit aus­ein­an­der­ge­setzt hat auf mög­li­che nuklea­re Ent­wick­lungs­ka­pa­zi­tä­ten in der Ukrai­ne abzu­zie­len, aber da das zu wage war um zu ver­fan­gen, oder debunkt zu werden.

Beim Guar­di­an waren das noch die “Top 10 Kriegs-Mythen” die­ser Agen­tur zur Fol­ge, bei der Pres­se, die den Arti­kel abschreibt dann die top zehn Fake News (- mit grö­ße­rer Über­schrift rus­si­sche Pro­pa­gan­da), Bele­ge braucht nie­mand (inner­halb des Arti­kels, oder für die “Top 10 - ness”), direkt links zu den Mel­dun­gen auch nicht (also weder die Pres­se, noch der Guar­di­an), ab jetzt zählt die Repu­ta­ti­on des Outlets.

Links wären vor allem inter­es­sant um die Ver­brei­tung der “Top 10 Fake News” abzu­klop­fen, denn sonst ver­wei­se ich auf mimi­ka­ma oder ukrainefacts.org wo aktu­ell ver­wirr­te Postings unter­schied­li­cher Ori­en­tie­rung debunkt werden.

Und die Beset­zung des Vor­stands der Agen­tur wird natür­lich nicht hin­ter­fragt, weil die NATO macht neu­er­dings ja Journalismus.

Biden and the US for­eign poli­cy estab­lish­ment has so far refu­sed to recon­si­der Nato enlar­ge­ment for three rea­sons. First, they fear the char­ge of appease­ment. Second, the US wants the pre­ro­ga­ti­ve to puts its mili­ta­ry in any coun­try that will have it, even if that dis­re­gards the legi­ti­ma­te secu­ri­ty con­cerns of neigh­bou­ring sta­tes. Third, the US for­eign poli­cy estab­lish­ment has long fai­led to ack­now­ledge valid Rus­si­an secu­ri­ty con­cerns that go back to the second world war and even earlier.

Rus­sia has long fea­red inva­si­ons from the west, whe­ther by Napo­le­on, Hit­ler or lat­ter­ly Nato. For this rea­son, coo­ler and wiser US for­eign poli­cy stra­te­gists, inclu­ding Bill Clinton’s defence secreta­ry Wil­liam Per­ry, the gre­at sta­tes­man and diplo­mat Geor­ge Kennan and for­mer ambassa­dor to the Soviet Uni­on, Jack Mat­lock, argued that Nato enlar­ge­ment to the east after the demi­se of the USSR was unne­cessa­ry, reck­less and provocative.

If war comes, Putin would of cour­se deser­ve the bla­me and glo­bal opp­ro­bri­um. Russia’s thre­ats are thug­gish and dan­ge­rous. Yet as mis­gui­ded as the Rus­si­an actions are, Ame­ri­can intran­si­gence regar­ding Nato enlar­ge­ment is also utter­ly mis­gui­ded and ris­ky. True friends of Ukrai­ne, and of glo­bal peace, should be cal­ling for a US and Nato com­pro­mi­se with Rus­sia — one that respects Russia’s legi­ti­ma­te secu­ri­ty inte­rests while ful­ly backing Ukraine’s sovereignty.

Also - the­re is this faint smi­le befo­re ans­we­ring the ques­ti­on, that also was pre­sent in the GMF call whe­re we updated our part­ners on the fact, that the ger­man poli­cy revi­sal in three major poli­cy sec­tors only took one and a half days, and the speech in the par­lia­ment reve­aling tho­se was only known to 12 peop­le befo­re it took place. Oh, and more peop­le in the par­lia­ment were allo­wed to applaud - just from a poli­cy perspective.

So lets go through the logi­cal fall­a­ci­es in that statement.

- GMF posi­ti­ons that ger­ma­ny has to pull its weight not only through mone­ta­ry con­tri­bu­ti­ons, but also through buil­ding up infra­st­ruc­tu­re were long stan­ding, as the US shifted its focus to the paci­fic region.

- It is high­ly ques­tion­ab­le that he is tal­king about “free­dom” (emo­tio­nal empha­sis of free­dom) in the con­text of out of ter­ri­to­ry mis­si­ons that ger­ma­ny was not pre­pa­red to take on. Ener­gy secu­ri­ty - maybe.

- The ent­i­re lan­guage of “I think ger­man peop­le would have unders­tood it ear­lier if we had exp­lai­ned it to them nice­ly”, is just play­ing pee­k­aboo with hard con­cepts of pro­pa­gan­da, whe­re you get a nati­on to reinvest in remi­li­ta­riz­a­ti­on by pain­ting them the pre­sence of a con­stant or inherent thre­at. It is also play­ing with the con­cept of “this war could have been aver­ted by employ­ing more mili­ta­ry deter­rence”, which is high­ly impro­bable, if anything other than the psy­cho­lo­gi­cal effect is expec­ted. (Let ano­t­her per­son exp­lain the point to you, why Nato invol­ve­ment was always out of the ques­ti­on.) The­re we also get into demo­gra­phics and all kinds of other fun stuff, but lets not.

- The point, that the 100 bil­li­on invest­ment packa­ge, for mili­ta­ry defen­se spen­ding is a one time invest­ment, and apart from that ger­ma­ny has com­mit­ted an incre­a­se of defen­se spen­ding to 2% of GDP sus­tai­ned (from 1.5%) is lar­ge­ly bols­te­ring up NATO, which the US is shif­ting mone­ta­ry com­mit­ments away from the­se days - so the out­co­me in the best case sce­n­a­rio should be that it remains right about at sta­tus quo. (At about two years worth of defen­se spen­ding cur­r­ent­ly the 100 bil­li­on direct respond fond, long­term isnt exact­ly a cour­se correction.)

- The ent­i­re con­cept, that you ask your “trans­at­lan­tic coor­di­na­tor” on came­ra, how the chan­ges that part­ly have yet to be imple­men­ted in the ger­man Grund­ge­setz have been per­cei­ved by our trans­at­lan­tic friends, in war times -- and that is the speech that follows, …
